There is difference. 2lb is alfalfa base, 3lb is timothy base. You can choose either 1 and stick with it.

The cage seem ok, but you can't use 3 level at one time for your chin, it too dangerous. You can make it to 2 level.

For the wire bottom, can the wire be remove and become flat? If not you can go get a new one at Pet safari toby which this cage at RM280.

If you have 200, get a new cage, i think you can get a discern cage from Italy Marchino, go shop around, top up few dollar which will get you a cage that is easy to clean, handy and mobile-able. biggrin.gif

Yes, you can. But you need to create the base for each cage. That mean the cage of 3 level must be intake together but seperated with a base for 3rd and 2nd level. You may need to manual make a wooden base or something, can't break to individual cage.

Bebee, how about getting some storage shelves from Ikea? these types: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/categori...condary_storage

you can adjust the height of the shelves, and then slot in your cages.. you can probably have 3 cages per shelve.. only thing is that u have to prevent the pee from spilling over to the shelves, might spoil the wood..

think its cheaper than NIC panels, plus price of steel going up now.. i think the panels will get more expensive

I am searching for an exercise wheel (made from steel and wire mesh not plastic) for chins but upto now still unable to find a suitable one. May I know where can I get one in Malaysia or thought internet?

I have prepared an aircon room for the chins (a empty room with a tilam)... when I put them in the room they only hide at a corner. Thought of buying something for them to exercise/play.

I would like to know if there is any other things that I can buy other than wheel? Recently I just bought a chewy toy from jan11.

At this moment, you can't find any suitable wheel for chin in Malaysia. You can buy at this online store from the State, Flying source pan.

http://www.chinchillas.com/estore/SearchRe...x?CategoryID=51

OR UK online store for wheel

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/bri.pollard/T...ings_wheels.htm
You need to get 16" above.
