If Malaysia is being identified as a country who regularly harbors international criminals or extremists, it will do us all no good. Indonesia is the largest Muslim country and yet they are not as noisy as us.
Foreign investors and MNCs will refrain from putting their money into the country, when FDIs dropped, it will lead to other slow deaths such as currency depreciation, loss of jobs and the livelihood of all Malaysians are affected indirectly. Our neighboring countries like Vietnams, Thailand and Singapore will stand to gain from our own stupidity as they are quietly laughing to the bank.
