Just got my A80J yesterday from Senheng, good price and very fast delivery.
At first I was a little disappointed, watching Astro(SDR) feel not much different from my old Panasonic plasma, the color even feel a little washed out compare to my plasma.
And then I watch some HDR content. Whoa...just different dimension! Everything pop and crisps!
Spend whole day calibrating, play some PS5 games, very happy with it.
P.S. Astro video source suck and the Google TV on the TV is very smooth, much better than Mi box.

The upscaling on Astro to 4K is not very good?

Why "I" is missing ?  hmm.gif

I think it is because the "I" may look like "1" when printed with certain fonts.

Sony X85j couldn't play properly a video I download from the net. I tried the media player and also Kodi, it is showing video with horizontal strips distortion. Same file play on pc is ok.

What format is the video? Is it in MP4?

Is Sony moving away from the smaller screen sizes? I noticed that 43" and 50" has only one model each, whereas 55" and above have many models.

Not surprised.

Anything below 55-inch is no meaning at this age. Too small. I am using 55-inch in my room also i find it minimum only.

if living room, seriously needs 65" and above...  tongue.gif

Cannot be... People's houses are not getting bigger, rooms are not getting bigger. Surely there's an optimal size for the TV, especially if you sit five feet away from it.
