Yes, I encountered movies not playable on my A80J also.

Tried the VLC with the setting of full hardware acceleration. It works but not perfect though but can watch comparing to using the native player for the Sony tv.

What wall mount do you guys use? Generic or branded one like Sanus?

Did anyone of you face issue of wifi?
For my case after turning off my tv let's say over the night, when I turn back on, the wifi is connected but apps like YouTube /Netflix prompts no connection. Only upon turning off and on the wifi that the connection restore

Does vidaa os really bad? Currently eyeing toshiba oled... Price quite good? How about picture quality does it on par with LG or Sony?

I think Google TV has the same problem they had with Android OS which is they do not let much room for improvements when brands want to go a step further for customisation. Of course it boils down to what you use your tv  for primarily. For my parents, their contents mainly come from Astro and honestly I think Samsung done a good job integrating Astro.

Cannot be... People's houses are not getting bigger, rooms are not getting bigger. Surely there's an optimal size for the TV, especially if you sit five feet away from it.

My X90J just poof today..first got horizontal line at the bottom then seems like the screen burn to one side..no display now..but running (sound) still under warranty (1 year 7 months use) so lets see what they will do..reset using power button oso no effect 😅😅

Sony tech support and customer service are very efficient. Previously my new sony TV have tiny dirt inside the panel, they direct replace a new panel to me after failed to clean it.

I read on Reddit, some people say Sony TV does not work well with other brand soundbar.

In dilemma right now.. Is it worth spent addtional rm800 for X85L vs X80L? Both 55".. try to limit my budget on tv but as usual, the output for x85l impress me.. just dont want to spend extra on tv due to technology very fast.. my next purchase probably next 3yrs..x80l already better than my current 10 yrs old 47w804a

Thinking to get ethernet adapter for my Sony TV KD-X85L. USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Network Adapter can be used and only RTL8153 chipset compatible instead of AX88179 chipset. There are plenty of RTL8153 chipset Ethernet Network Adapter from cheap around RM20 up to TP-link UE300 more than RM80. Anyone using those cheap but reliable one? Or must go for brand one?
