Sony sudah release Bravia 5 in the 2025 lineup, harap2 90L series bawah 3k laaa

My 77” A80K developed black patches of dead pixels. Sony came to replace the entire panel at my place.

If I need to transport 77” to shop really GG lor 🤣

usually I don't see it when watching movies cause it is within the black bars... but when watch 16:9 then it appears.

bravia 5 seems to be significantly better than 90L series. 

price drop for old series will be welcome. but given the trade war now happening started by insane guy. I think the price drop may not be significant and price rise maybe what expecting also.

yeah... indeed... glad that i just bought the TV for my parents last week. 

even nitento switch 2 delayed the release, i think they may want to readjust the price now. 

So many choices, I think it will be a tough decision making for buyers. 

besides, for new sony tv purchased, will be able to get Sony Core free access rite?

I love the current A80J a lot especially recently. watched a lot of 4k movies at home.. nicer than going out to cinema to watch.

I see. I suspect it is a common problem that affects the same model maybe the batches also. Now Sony tvs are all made in bolehland, so I won’t be surprised that the same model sold in lion city also came from bolehland and under the same batches of production.

My A80j’s warranty just ended few days back.
Now no more warranty. Hope it can last. 
It has served me very well for the past two years.

Nowadays TV no guarantee can last after warranty. Next time get those for 2+3 warranty one for peace of mind.

Call Sony. They will come to your doorstep to repair.

yes, i complained about one of the usb ports speed was significantly slower than the other usb port which is on the same standard usb 2.0.

sony support came to my house and changed the motherboard for free although in the end it was discovered that not the mobo issue, but at least they came to diagnose and eventually changed me a new mobo. 

As mentioned it is just one of the USB 2.0 port has slower speed than the other side by side one.

So it is quite weird and that’s was the reason why I bought it up to Sony before 2 years warranty expired.

Even the technician cannot explain that so end up they just replace the mobo for me but after replacement still the same. So not tv specific prob.

Many TV brands use TCL CSOT LCD panel nowadays. Many companies stopped making LCD panels already. But ya, TCL LCD or LG OLED panel plus Sony's image processing can make very good picture quality. Seems many TV's LCD panels fail in 4 years these days though.
