Nice. But the taste is due to additives. Only eat like once or twice in a year bcoz the meat they source from is not of high quality. I rather make my own burger meat or buy from those shops where they mske their own meat. Not processdd

I have spare Ramly's and Ayamas minced chicken in the fridge if can't find fresh minced chicken at supermarket. Wife prefer Ayamas over Ramly. I can't tell the different.

QUOTE(friedricetheman @ May 15 2021, 08:35 PM) I am sure they don’t use weird parts in their burger patties due to the stringent halal certification in our country. Should be safer to eat than those imported brands. Halal means not using parts like beak, feet, 'spare parts'?

QUOTE(blek @ May 15 2021, 08:53 PM) Might be halal but their patty doesn't taste like meat. More like tepung. Can't comment since their recipe like that what can we do really.

QUOTE(smallbug @ May 15 2021, 09:23 PM) Halal means not using parts like beak, feet, 'spare parts'? I meant testicles, cow vagina and other weird parts. I don’t know if overseas slaughterhouse just grind the cow whole to make burger patties or not. I think that certain parts of the animal are forbidden but maybe some more knowledgeable Muslim on here can explain in detail for you. QUOTE(New Klang @ May 15 2021, 05:52 PM) These recent few days, I see grocery stores selling chicken meat that are not really fresh. Maybe due to festival and long weekend. Was thinking about buying processed meat. I assume Ramly being local and halal, quality should be acceptable. Which parts of flesh are crushed and blended to make burgers? It's all minced and frozen, and then imported in. Ramly doesnt own a farm nor do they buy the meats locally.

Aaa I missed Ramly beef patty and minced meat. Here in KK impossible to find after last year. Suddenly import from peninsular of meat products stopped (even way before the kangaroo fiasco)
