I am gonna start working from June 2021 onward in an office in KLCC. Company strictly requires staff to work in the office.

May I know where can I find affordable place to park my car, as I will be working from Monday to Saturday every week.

Besides, do anyone know if MRT Damansara Timur is already operating, and how much it would cost to park there and the one way travel cost from MRT Sri Damansara Timur to MRT Persiaran KLCC?

Thanks. flex.gif

Where is your home located? If in PJ, Asia Jaya LRT RM3, or u can try parking MRT Phileo*

*use same TnG for car n human to get the cheap rate else it count per hr.

For Sat u can try to get a FOC MBPJ carpark along the A&W road near to taman jaya LRT.

Usually work 5 days already enough to cover the my100 100 bucks per mth season pass.

U can check the fare online at https://www.myrapid.com.my/fares-and-paymen...fare-calculator

Affordable parking in vicinity of klcc, if available, usually involve a long walking distant.

I dont think mrt is currently available at Damansara Timur Station.

I suggest you rent a room along Kelana LRT line and commute daily. Drive home during weekend. Use the petrol and parking expenses to cover rent and the current petrol price per litre is not going to drop in the near future.

Btw, the monthly unlimited travel pass RM30 per month is valid until Dec 2021. Hope they will extend.

Open carpark behind Avenue K is 12.70 whole day
This is the "cheapest last resort" as the other carparks are crazy per hour.
Generally if its open carpark its still reasonable. Any sheltered carpark around KLCC is crazy for parking whole day.
As for other carpark its RM6-8-10 along Yap Kwan Seng (1919, after megan ave, sideroad before megan ave/after ambank) respectively.

Taking LRT/MRT is cheap but whether need to cross toll will be another issue.
Kwasa Dsara got free parking lah as long as you don't block the bus U turn spot. Its a bit of a walk in heels but "confirm always got parking".

Weekdays are expensive (per hour) if its not open carpark.
If park in Megan Ave easily RM24-30 a day

Ave K one is my last resort.

Yeah but to TS, park at Phileo and take lrt down to klcc..
Once It was raining heavily, from klcc they closed the underground tunnel making me have to make a big ass detour through KL to get to npe/federal. Took me 3 hours to get home.
After that I drove to an glenmarie/Phileo and took the let to klcc.

If stay 4 towns away just mentally prepared that life sucks sometimes..whether train or driving.. laugh.gif
I also kena before the massive safe mode issue (5 min per station to KLCC) from Glenmarie... This was sometime in 2016.
Some other colleagues took Grab like 70 bucks from PJ to KL.
Since I was stranded in Glenmarie (driving also not an option coz raining and all jammed) .. the other way (to Putra Hts and grand tour thru Puchong-SriPet-Cheras-Hang Tuah) was operating as usual, just a grand tour issue - I just walk in about 11 something at LRT fare price. Colleague who took the Grab also arrived around that time laugh.gif

Driving leh, scared flood if you are driving a low car.
People make fun of why I drive a contractor pickup truck to work. Flood is seldom an issue to worry about (survivability of vehicle), jam is normal rclxm9.gif
