Hi all,

I am using a dc moto autogate and wondering if there are any smart home product that works with homekit to open/close gate?

If the installation is too complicated I prefer to get an installer, I am in penang so if there's any dealer you know of please let me know.

Thanks.

I have tried this. App too buggy. Very hard to pair with phone.
Even the installer also give up.
You can try and hope for the best.

Ok, guess I wont go for it.

I wanted homekit and seems there is no way. Has anyone tried using an IR blaster, will it work with the autogate remote?

i just wired a sonoff basic in parallel with one of the button of the indoor gate switch.

set to inching mode so that it mimics a door bell switch click.

Unless your IR blaster support RF, Broadlink pro series have RF. Tested it fine. But now using tuya wifi relay instead.

I read other comment that Broadlink could not handle rolling code that most of the autogate use, are you using DCmoto as well? Will be good that Broadlink can work.

Most RF to Wifi cannot support rolling code.

I have decided to used Tuya ecosystem which have the most products with reasonable price currently. For eg. Broadlink switch for lightings are crazy expensive, at least two times Tuya.
