"your hotlink will be inactivated/terminated on..", What does this mean?

I got an sms like the following
CODE Your Hotlink will be inactivated/terminated on 11-05-2021. Pls top up to stay active. What does this even mean? Currently my number is active until 11/5/21, and the content of the sms above states "inactivated/terminated". Does that mean I will have my number terminated immediately on 11/5/21? Today is 10/5/21, and that would mean my number still active tomorrow, 11/5/21 right? It is very confusing to have this "threatening" message came in. |

any updates on what this message could mean? i understand that they may want to simplify the messages but then, i would still assume this is a threat
