No. I was at IDCC 31st May, there was a couple husband and wife.. they asked the same thing (husband on later date) but wasn't allowed in. So husband waited for wife at the waiting area close to the exit point.

Got my AZ jab 2 days ago, yesterday started noticing around 10 red spots on my body (non itchy and non painful), some very tiny and some a bit bigger. Bright red.

Today got more. Anyone of yall experienced this too? Will be going clinic later to get it checked out, but I wonder if I’m just being too paranoid.

Yeah good luck bro, stay calm as being anxious won't solve anything. Know the next action for you to do, and do it.

Hope to hear from you on the findings smile.gif

What are the usual rates at Sunway Mall? What is the requirement to get parking fee waived?

Initially I registered for IDCC, but they ended up throwing me to WTCKL. I'm not familiar with this area and KL being KL parkings are expensive everywhere and most likely full as well.

I think for 1 hour plus do cost average rm6 - rm8. But waive for vaccine process at that mall, need to meet the cs at the mall center, so tix become rm2

BMI 26-28.. borderline HBP.. 32, no smoking, no drinking.. except for a shit ton of coffee and siew yok.. what do u think?

I HIIT probably 2-3 times a week.. My friends who are cross-fitters got their fevers and chills within 12 hours after AZ... so i doubt exercise plays a role here.

QUOTE
The strength of muscle
First up: unlike the layer of fat just under our skin, muscle has an excellent blood supply to help disperse the vaccine, says Joanna Groom, an immunology researcher at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute.

Muscle contains and recruits immune cells called dendritic cells, which take up antigens quickly and stick them on their surface, like a flag.

...

Longer — and safer — training sessions
Muscle is a bit of a Goldilocks tissue for doling out vaccines to our immune cells: not too slow, but not too fast either.

As well as providing a ready pool of dendritic cells, muscle acts as a "deposit", where the vaccine can linger a while and be used over a longer period.

This allows for an extended immune system training session, Dr Groom says, which "is thought to result in maximal activation of the immune system".

A vaccine injected directly into the bloodstream, on the other hand, is vulnerable to destruction.

"There are other nonspecific immune cells that can mop up the vaccine and degrade it before it has the opportunity to get to the lymph node," Dr Groom says.

...

"Muscle helps localise any adverse reactions and minimise them, so it's safer."

siew yok high in fat is ok, eating fat won't make you fat as we were taught, i guess u don't take high carb/sweet food, your coffee sweeten or not? you are an interesting study subject, maybe u can request for antibody test, i'm sure they can provide foc, do update if u get tested. as for yr friends, cant read only 1 factor whether exercise or not, need a set of lifestyle questions to understand better. since it's a human trial, they should collect info like such.

btw, if naturally infected we will get the same antibody (which produced by immune system) as the vaccine right? so getting infected should be same like getting vaccine shot?

I went to a clinic nearby and the doctor told me that it’s a bit early to determine if it’s anything more than just a reaction to the vaccine, so I can continue to monitor a few more days. If I get more spots or if I get more serious episodes of breathlessness (I had very short breathless / chest pain episodes today - one in the morning and one in the afternoon, but over in a few seconds), I should head to a hospital for a more comprehensive check. Doctor said if it’s something more serious they can usually tell after a week or so.

Guess I’ll just monitor at home for now and keep my fingers crossed!

Right now I’m not running any fever and my major body aches seem to have gone. Only having some dizziness / lightheadedness which is new.

Just a few examples of what they look like - there’s a few more on my face, chest and back; and tinier ones on my arms. Doctor said probably not an allergic reaction since they’re not itchy and they don’t seem to be rashes.

I got my vaccine on 1/6, I started noticing the spots at night on 2/6. This morning 3/6 a few more appeared.

Not overweight or obese, within healthy weight for my height. Diet can consider quite okay, eat fruits and veges and I don’t really snack. I don’t smoke and before I sprained my ankle about a month ago I used to jog and do home workouts. 29 years old, no pre-existing condition. As far as I know, no allergy to medicine but since I’ve never really fallen very ill (touch wood), the only medicine I take is like Panadol or cough meds hahahaha

mark those spots and count how many, monitor daily the spots by the size/color, see if became permanent or goes away.
