My 1994 car uses LonPac Insurance. You can contact through their site.

You buying a used car or what?

coz I have 21yr and 24yrs old cars. Both still can get insurance coverage. But I don't hop around insurance cos la. In fact I just received renewal letter from AIG for my 21yr old car yesterday.

So my take is, just call your existing car insurance co and enquire. Reason is AIG cust service rep told me they would not entertain new walk-in customer for 3rd party coverage.

My 15 year old car recently got rejected by Lonpac for comprehensive. They only allow 3rd party only.

Anyone know if which insurance will accept comprehensive for old cars?

I’m currently using Kurnia comprehensive for my 25 year old car. I’ve been using the same agent for as long as my family has had the car, so no problem in renewing.

They have however told me, not to refer any friends with older cars as they can’t really do much for them. Since I’ve been with them for years, they’re helping.

My other car, 22 years old a little different. My agent couldn’t do it and nobody wanted to insure the car for me as the sum insured was too high for them to accept. Then found Chubb and they agreed to do it with my preferred sum insured as long as I presented them with the proof of value increase every year at renewal.
