Currently Menuet is the only OS written 100% in assembly with modern feature-set and it took us some time to realize this goal. This is also an easily identifiable place in the computing world. ---Ville

This non-networked 64-bit OS was developed by a person with schizophrenia (if I understand correctly)

Oh no, KolibriOS was based on 32-bit MenuetOS..... Ville (the creator of MenuetOS) learned the lesson and now 64-bit MenuetOS is closed-source.

Has anyone seen command prompt window other than Windows / Linux ?

This is not the mainstream OS... it is MenuetOS CMD.....amazing. Looks like it combines both popular commands from Windows and Linux.

Thanks flashang.

And look! I have ported my (together with Hrstka, a European) QR code generator to MenuetOS 64 as well.

600 lines of Assembly code, 5KB of binary executable size.

MenuetOS 64 comes with its QR code reader (through webcam), but not with QR code generator.

These screenshot shows the symbol created with my QR code generator, can also be readable by MenuetOS 64's bulit-in QR code reader.

Latest release of MenuetOS 64-bit shipped with a new third-party program, Necromancer's Dos Navigator.

Also the operating system now supports PC speaker programming through system call 49.
