It's actually now known as University of Wollongong (UOW) Malaysia KDU now. We got bought over in 2019 by UOW Australia and now have changed our name to UOW Malaysia KDU. So technically, we are an Australian University Entity. Not a foreign branch campus (FBC) but something totally unique as this is the first time in Malaysian history that a university college (or any institute for that matter) has been acquired directly by a University overseas.

I am not from the Banking and Finance school - so i would not comment on this but maybe you could visit the campus and get a feel of the campus and lifestyle there.

But i can say that UOW Malaysia KDU is a renowned and established academic institution with a focus into quality education.

My advice would be to consider the Bachelor of Business (specialise in Finance) instead. This gives you a more rounded and comprehensive knowledge in economics (micro and macro) and financial accounting. This will give you some basic knowledge for investment banking. Well, that is my limited understanding based on the research i did for my daughter who went into pure economics.

Maybe best you check with someone from the School of Business in UOW.
