I saw the advertisement in the newspaper stated that Olympus FE-230 priced at rm688. The store that sell at this price is E-Mart at Jalan Pasar.
But other stores like Fotokem, Bintang, mostly stores sell at rm799.
The price vary quite a big range, so is it got anything wrong with the one in E-mart?

Priced high - Grumble, complaint.
Priced low - Suspect.

Well, ask them if its warranty is from the manufacturer. Cameras are basically duty free, so you are unlikely to find grey imports.

warranty only................. thats alll either u get original warranty from olymp or u get some shop warranty thats all

camera also like handphone,got AP set and Ori set...correct me if im wrong??

688 and 799 not a big different and that's normal only.

for example..fotokem sell rm2700 for EOS 400D and i bought it at 2400 pnly at others stores..

I don't think so. There's no import duty on camera. So grey imports will not be any cheaper. So there is no market for grey imports, and no demand will lead to no supply.

oh like that huh....emm but i see some seller selling canon dslr and they said it Japan then the price is much more lower then other one...

I think both are genuine camera lah! Just one shop is selling at higher price than the other. That's why you need to survey and bargain when buying a camera
