yup i've heard that WinMO can be a pain. You'll either love it or hate it.. well i'll never know till i try right?

read reviews on the KS20 and i didn't like the stock qwerty keyboard either. too small, but there are other keyboard applications i can install... the iphone alike keyboard is very comfortable to use, i guess that'll be the 1st thing to install haha.... she uses the phone mainly for sms and the occasional phone call so i think the keyboard is a very important feature..
yup my gf will not curse me, she'll just return the phone to me and use her trusty "old school" SE phone (tat's wat i call it).. hehehe... but i guess having a WinMo as a spare phone definately beats having a non customisable "cookie"..

specs of the KS20 beats the cookie anytime..customisations will be mainly done by me of coz.. for me it's a new experiance with WinMo so i'm up for the challenge. Plus i think that KS20 is currently the cheapest WinMo device around (2nd hand i mean)? at least it's slim and it looks good compared to the old "bricks" HTC or O2 came up with... they're so big and heavy, i think my gf will knock me on the head with those...taking up too much space in handbags hahahahha
another plus point, i know there are a few nice guys here who are helpful in the event i have any trouble customising WinMo! hahaha

cheers! thanks for your advice....
At first, I hate this phone because it's difficult to sms using qwerty even after trying several 3rd party qwerty keyboards. Later I found out about HTC phone pad. I love it. It is a T9 phone pad, like regular phone. Now, I can write with one hand on the ks20 touchscreen. Better yet, I can make my own dictionary, very useful for writing malay words and other custom words using the T9 dictionary.
google for
-HTC phone pad
-Dictmgr (for customizing the phone pad's T9 dictionary).
But then, when browsing, easier to type url using qwerty rather than phone pad. So, I have both..
This is how T9 phone pad looks like on my phone

My custom dictionary... I stored a word "henpon". The word appears when I typed using t9 method

I love it.
