can someone give me an idea where to get iphone dialer? goggle it, but can't find...

Get it here : http://lg-ks20.handster.com/product.php?id=2865

As for keyboard, use PCM Keyboard with iPhone skin.

Hi Studzedward....

Thank you very much for the suggestion, tried the Vito SMS-chat...its really good. Nice scrollable finger-friendly interface. The best part is that the response window shifts up according to the size of the keyboard you are using...the earlier software I tried out was SMS threader and the response window used to get obscured by the PCM keyboard. Only trouble is the phone sometimes hangs when i try to launch the program. Do u have the same problem?

Have you used Nimbuzz or Fring on your phone? I need a software that I can use for Gtalk, Skype and yahoo chat. Unfortunately, both Fring and Nimbuzz don't run on my KS 20. Any other options?

Vito SMS Chat runs like a gem in my KS20. No hiccup or problem of what so ever. Just that at times, after I answered the SMS, it got stuck in SENDING status until I launch the original SMS "outbox", then only it will be sent off. Otherwise, I love the UI cos it's iPhone chat alike.

I plan to remove the original screen protector and use the phone as usual. Anyone knows if the original surface is stylus scratch-proof? My old Cassiopea was okay without screen protector.

Ed,

The original screen protector on my unit got scratched quite fast and I have to replaced it with a new one after only a couple of weeks. The new one is robust. I got it from Digital Mall PJ. The extreme left corner shop along the Main entrance.

HI DrWho,

Ahh.. okay, so it's advisable to use one huh? The original one is terrible as it's very scratched now, ugly and it's making the screen look blurish.

there shudnt be a screen protector on a brand new set if u didnt apply it there. and yes, IS does feel a bit "jelly" like, but it gets better and smoother after 2 weeks or so.

The original screen protector has a small tap, at the top left side, for removing it. Come to think about it, it may not be a long term protector, just a protector to protect the screen while in transit.

Look for the SKOOL brand protector. I just went to Digital Mall to look for one for my Omnia, the original Samsung protector is not as clear as SKOOL, .......no stock sad.gif They have stock for KS20

think the shield can still be taken off, then put back. just make sure use a lot of water.

Hi box,

are you refering to the "spray" provided in the IS package? this liquid is good as it removes finger print while i insert the shield. are you sure the IS can be peeled off and replaced again, without bubbles and edges?

thanks.

There are three types of OS for Smartphone. WM, iPhone and Android (Google). The choice will depend on your needs. For me it is either WM or Android (which is very very new). It is not easy to hack the iPhone or its software.

Dear DrWho,

thanks.

so how is your omnia? i am attracted by its 'LG look alike' but not sure of the samsung stuff. i tried various samsung phones and felt that the software were lagging too much to my liking. i shd think omnia is better (for its price shake!). currently negotiatng for a used HTC 2nd gen P3342.

thanks.

The only reason I bought an Omnia is for the storage capacity. I now have 24GB storage, 16GB in built and 8GB from SDHC. I am keeping my KS20 as standby. smile.gif

Dear DrWho,

i see i see. omnia still looks over-priced. cant imagine it stores 24gb !!!
i guess i will look for something else then, most likely the HTC 2nd gen.

thanks.
