Samsung Omnia 2 is not a WM phone. My choice will be HTC D2. The only downside of HTC D2 is the battery life. It can only last 1 to 2 days.

I owned both a KS20 and Omnia, both hacked and customized. I would be a great task for KS20 to beat Omnia.

It is good to see this thread alive again! rclxms.gif

rclxms.gif Good Morning DrWho, Ed and all friends of KS20,

long time no 'discuss', hehe. yes, uts really good to see there are KS20 owners here again.

somehow, i feel that KS20 is somekind of more 'responsive' in touch than my Omnia II.  Omnia II needs little time to wake up, and i have to serioucly poke at the function to get it works.  Ane xample, i need to poke carefully at the "x" to close a running program (not with stylus but fingers) ... (DrWho, is it the setting? what i need to do to improve the resposiveness? i use fingers instead of stylus).

hope this thread continues ..... rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif

Omnia have the same problem but can be solved by changing the Calibration Data at the registry as shown below. Please note that the below example is only meant for Omnia not Onmia2[After the recalibration the devise is very accurate, just need to touch once not poke many times brows.gif

* Improve Screen Calibration Accuracy

1. Open your Registry Editor(PHM Registry Editor)
2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/HARDWARE/DEVICEMAP/TOUCH/
3. Click on CalibrationData
4. Value Data change to > 519,503 177,881 182,129 847,127 849,872
5. Click OK to save it.

You need to google for the right value data for your Omnia 2.

I almost smash the ks20 today when I was trying to make some urgent call at the mall just now. It kept hanging after my daughter played some games with it.

my ks20 internal lcd cracked after my long hour flight, must be the screen pressed against the hand supporrt there  vmad.gif
now is there any where to repair the screen? or should say is it worth to get it repaired?

Time to upgrade to newer model phone. The replacement cost of a new screen is not worth it.

Below is even nicer. Which are you using, WM6.1 or WM6.5? I will direct you to the link.
