Data Encryption, this MUST match your wireless router/modem settings, ie both the KS20 and wireless router must have the same setting. If they are not the same you should change the data encryption in one of them to match the other. Easiest way, is to change data encryption type setting at the device by trial and error until it matches the wireless router.

i got a signal n connected to facebook mobile. but its really slow. anyhow to tweak the connection speed?

You have configured your device for max wireless speed, ie WLAN 802.11G. Use SKTools to configure File System cache to 4MB and Glyph cache to 32KB. Does your wireless modem support 802.11G?. The older modem does not.

erk, is the ks20 really outdated? for me, i still fiddle wit it to make it a gud device. huhuhu. like now, i'm currently testing manila2d just see. the feature was nice, but not a keeper. noticeable lagg

I'm using KS20 to reply now. Yes its dated but it can still be used as a good WinMo PDA.

I am still using a WM phone, therefore this thread is relevant. No iPhone for me, maybe Android when there are more applications written for it. WM is still king of the hill.

true true. winmo can be great as we can learn alot from tweaking it all day. there are frustrating times but at the end (not really the end la) it is all worth the while.

wish i have a more powerful winmo based pda with faster processor to paly with later on ...

Ye sure HTC fan. Is Diamond 2 faster? Pls give us some review n how it is compared to yr HD.

Almost identical except for physical size and screen size, 3.2 v 3.8 inch diagonal. Diamond 2 has less XDA ROM support. Newer I suppose.

The bigger the screen, the better.

Hehe yeah, faster by quite a bit too. Instead of tuning my KS20, I tune this. We are greedy humans. Power is always insufficient.

yeah , great! i sent mine for a SNOW WASH and the engine stil does not look as clean as your? what hv you done to it????

I washed it once awhile with some de-greaser and I oil the plastic parts with leather protectant. As for chrome parts, I polished it once and wipe the engine weekly. Hehehe.

hows the htc diamond2? i hv used for few days of the first gen htc diamond. my oponion was that it was too suqarish for me. but the interface was very smooth relative to my ks20. the sliding home screen was also good and fast. i am just wondering 'how much smoother and faster the htc 2 can be, and does the price justify it at all?

i am now studying this cellphone too ... .waiting little linger to see the price drop b4 considering it.

ks20 is idle a the moment, as it gets slower since keeping it in my collection drawer.

planning to dispose for another winmo pda.
