Hi everyone, it’s been awhile I posted some reviews here.

And after some old inquiries of some users ask me to review the Commandos Glock 5 Gen 2 by Tech Armory and here we are. Although the model itself its not the latest model in the market but im doing the review now because it is still a good machine and its main perk that its CPU is using a desktop CPU and can be upgraded, this feature is really value for some performance hungry user especially for processing power to have where you can upgrade to a better cpu chip whenever you need.

Front view with my other stuff, It is a chunky unit weight at 2.35kg including the battery, but considering the upgradeability, the NTSC 72% with 100% sRGB IPS monitor and the price, i can get over the slightly heavy machine.

The spec of the Glock 5 Gen 2 I have:
CPU: Intel i5 - 10400 @ 2900Mhz (Desktop CPU)
GPU: GTX1650
RAM: 8GB
SSD: 512GB NVMe
Display: 16.1 inch 72% NTSC IPS display
Weight: 2.35kg
Dimension: 37.8mm(w) x 25m(d) x 2.9mm(h)
Price: RM3330

I know the RAM capacity is too small, and i will upgrade it eventually sweat.gif

Cinebench: with average CPU score of 7426

The numbers are more or less standard for my crappy Ram and for an i5-10400 and a GTX1650. But heat control of this machine is good in my opinion where the temperature kept at a good 57'c Max, it could have go higher if i tested on maximum setting but due to my low Vram i could go test higher. As for the GPU, yea its only GTX1650, but i will update further with some other benchmark screenshot shortly.

Nevertheless with this fan capability, upgrading to an Intel i9 for CPU or the latest RTX30 series graphic on Tech Amory's newest Glock 5 Ace Gen 3 model for your work would be great with the price.

So just for my curiosity i open up the belly and took at a look

There are only a few heatpipe for the ventilation, but the Fan blades are huge. Guess not the more heatpipe = better ventilation ohmy.gif

Overall this machine to me is a good long-term (not more than 5 years laugh.gif ) and for people who wish to have good CPU processing power, but if you wish to know more about this machine, it is best you contact Tech Armory
