QUOTE(sjz @ Mar 7 2024, 03:21 PM) i think someone shares the t&c before revising, its 2000 first come first serve. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « but they had revised the t&c now to remove the clause. who knows will it be another revisions? they had told u they hav every rights to revise the t&c
amend these Campaign/Promotion Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice to you, and (ii) change, withdraw or terminate any offer or reward without disclosing the reason and without making compensation or remuneration. this is the current t&c Reward 3: An Apple share.
Task:
To be eligible for the free Apple share, you must successfully open a Moomoo MY universal account and deposit a cumulative amount of at least RM8,000 into the account before 11:59 PM MYT 31/03/2024. Once the deposit of RM8,000 has been completed, you must also successfully claim the free Apple share from the activity landing page.
Upon successful claim, the Apple share will be issued and activated if you maintain assets (including cash, stocks, and other assets) of RM8,000 (or equivalent currencies) for 30 days.
Note: The value fluctuations of your holdings after depositing will not affect the unlocking of rewards, and you are free to trade stocks. In the unlikely event that the unlocking of Apple stocks fails due to a significant decrease in the net value caused by fluctuations in the value of your assets, moomoo will investigate and complete reward re-issuance within 7 working days.
it sounded like once the Apple share is claimed, with count down, it should be considered yours after 30 days maintaining RM8k or above. If really first 2000, first come first serve...... then tough luck since it already gained 10k client within 3 days launch in Msia. https://www.prnewswire.com/apac/news-releas...-302076692.html

QUOTE(Yluxion @ Mar 7 2024, 03:42 PM) Just trying out the platform overall features. It's for convenient sake only. I would not recommend using Auto Currency Exchange as the forex conversion rates are 0.07 ~ 0.08% higher. (Using Wise exchange rate as base line) Both options works. Using Wise conversion rate as base line: 1. Auto Currency Exchange = paying 0.07~0.08% higher rates 2. Self convert MYR to USD (before buying US stocks) = paying around 0.04% higher rates Is it possible to use MooMoo as USD wallet to keep USD or is it same like WISE, limited to certain USD amount by BNM?

QUOTE(Yluxion @ Mar 7 2024, 05:20 PM) Under Moomoo Malaysia, it's called Universal Account (MYR & USD under the same account number). Unsure about USD holding limit though. As far as I know you can't deposit USD into the account, all the fundings have to be MYR. Same goes to withdrawals. Even if can't withdraw out as USD, but if we can keep our converted USD in MooMoo account, and convert it back at higher rate in the future, it would not be a bad way to hedge against long term MYR devaluation right? I'm just wonder the same limit set by BNM to WISE is also applicable to MooMoo.
