Ok. My personal experience, sign up and verification super smooth and only took minutes. Cash deposit into account from SG account also very smooth and almost instantaneous. Qualified for free Apple share. Waiting to sell and cash everything out.

QUOTE(TOS @ May 20 2021, 09:50 PM) Might keep the account if it doesn't auto close after a period of inactivity, but not keeping any cash inside. Btw, we can cash out the initial $2700 deposit immediately and still get the free Apple share, correct? |

QUOTE(TOS @ May 21 2021, 08:30 AM) Based on here: Thanks. I cashed out anyway , to do something else. Don't mind losing the free share. But I will update here on the final outcome. You can get the free stock after depositing the fund. It doesn't say what will happen if you cash out immediately though. I guess you better cash out after you got the share. Members here comment that the service is fast, so you should be able to get your "free" stock and cash out your initial deposits quickly. |

QUOTE(Barricade @ May 28 2021, 02:28 PM) QUOTE(honsiong @ May 28 2021, 06:10 PM) It's cheaper to send direct from cimb sg to cimb my via cimbclicks. There are no charges and the rates are competitive. I just compared it today with wise, wise lost out. |

QUOTE(Ramjade @ May 30 2021, 10:56 AM) Don't look at fees. Look at final amount received. That will tell you who's the cheapest for same amount of money transfering. Yes. Transferring using CIMB Clicks gives me an additional RM52. This is implied when I said the rates are about the same between CIMB and Wise. If you have both Clicks and Wise just launch both apps and compare, and you'll see the same as me. This post has been edited by gooroojee: May 31 2021, 09:04 AM Barricade liked this post

QUOTE(HenryJay @ Jun 9 2021, 11:12 AM) ya, but tiger would charge the fee 100USD per USD stock. not worth it if your position is low How about other brokerages, like Morgan Stanley?https://www.tigerbrokers.com.sg/help/detail...es-transfer-out Tiger is allowed the transfer out but it has quite a significant fee |

QUOTE(Mr.Weezy @ Jun 10 2021, 12:36 PM) Offer Rewards for Completing Initial Deposits and Unlocking Level 1 Trading Badge or Completing 5 Trades Malaysians still can... As of 1st Jun 2021, (0000hrs SGT ) new customers who have successfully opened a Futu SG securities account from 1st Jun 2021 to 30th Jun 2021 (2000hrs SGT) can enjoy 1 Free AAPL share when they fulfil all of the following conditions, Condition (i): Successfully open a FUTU SG Securities account between 1st Jun 2021, 0000hrs SGT and 30th Jun 2021, 2000hrs SGT (hereinafter referred to as "activity time"); Condition (ii): Deposited funds worth SGD 2,700 or USD 2,000 or HKD 16,000 within 30 days from account opening; Condition (iii): Successfully unlocked the Level 1 Trading Badge or completed 5 successful trades --------------------------------------------------------- Regarding the 3rd condition, is successful trade meaning any buy/sell of shares? If I buy a share and sell it immediately, is it considered as 1 trade or 2 trades? I also saw this quoted T&C, does this mean we Malaysians can't benefit from the free AAPL share anymore? |
