People have been doing take and withdraw, but it's only once per user, regardless of which country they open the account (Correct me if i'm not wrong). But I'm glad to see people bringing up the "not able to withdraw money out", it's a good self awareness that everyone should have especially as Malaysian, since scam is everywhere now in and when it's too good to be true, you know it's probably a trap. Although Moomoo is regulated by SC, but that doesn't means it's not a scam (Just FYI), regulation is one thing and they can still rug pull anytime if they want to (despite they will have to face a lot of legal issue, not only in here but other country as well).

Those aside, I'm rooted for MooMoo (MY), as someone coming from Rakuten, I guess those who used the rakuten platform know the best about how *good* it is especially their mobile apps when it comes to buying US Stock from Rakuten.

I read about this from their page and still don't get what they mean. Does that mean you and your friend both need to deposit 6k? or just combine 6k and get just 1 share. But i heard "Divorce" is not applicable after creating the account for two person. Interested one this but not sure how it works so ended up deposit 8k for me and spouse, easier that way.

As long the stock they distributed is on equal value, I'm ok with GRAB or even Futu Holding, but if not in equal value.. let's do it in Singaporean's way. Complain 99

Let's hope this doesn't apply to us, there's no mention of how many APPL share reserves for new member in Malaysia, but better to get it done sooner or later. i'm keen on using it

Raise hand here, how do you guys use the Rm10 x 5 voucher, i saw each voucher require you to place an order of at least Rm100. If i place an order of Rm500> does it used all 5 vouchers? or i have to split and pay Rm4+ fee for each trade with each order of above Rm100

Another thing, if i buy Stock right now, and if the stock depreciate before the 30days. Will i still entitled for the AAPL share? or better i topup up 10k and let it float.

For long term, i think buying stock is definitely >2%. Just don't jump into some random company that is unheard of.



I wonder when will Moomoo start Fractional shares for MY.

The fractional share option is not there; I also checked with Support that you can actually used all the 8000 to buy share, the fluctuation of stock price will not impact the 8000 requirement for AAPL.
Can start buy.

I don't know whether this is true, but you'll get 500 points. (My friends got this and i also got this.. not even an app to see the fortune wheel, it just show up in the notification and reward)

Struggling what to buy to utilize the Rm10 x 5 vouchers. put some odd lot then realize it's hard to fulfil compare to those using Board lot. (I just wanna hit zhun zhun Rm100) or if you guys wanna share what are the better way?

if i'm not mistaken as long as you hit 1 Board lot it can still sell as Board Lot. Maybe i try other share....
last time when Maybank gave the Purchase program as part of their dividend package, we get assigned odd lot

Cheaper = Yes, but not the cheapest. I believed IBKR still got the cheapest rate for long term investment.
But, for you to declare it to IRB in the future, then Moomoo is much more convenience since they already have approval to trade in Malaysia by SC, and our deposit and withdraw is via the platform to our bank without the need to go through remittance (or Singapore bank)

I exchange 8000 MYR to USD and i only got 1684 ish. Then asset show i only have like Rm7940+. Not the greatest but by far the most convenience.
Now just waiting for Moomoo to implement Fraction share and maybe London Stock Exchange (If can trade option lagi best but i doubt the fee will be comparable to IBKR)

Those who registered before 1st April just need to top-up 8k before 31st March 11:59:59pm, after top-up, click on the promotion link to unlock the AAPL share then maintain the 8k for 30 days to get the free share.

I tried buying odd lot to match the fee Rm100 (Bought random number of AXREIT) waited 3 days and still didn't see it cash back to me.
I guess you need to buy 1 lot that exceed Rm100 for it to use the voucher, but not really worth it if you're not planning to hold.
Since the fee is already Rm4+ per order (buy not sure about sell).

That's interesting, but as of now i don't have additional cash to make additional purchase, wait till i topup again.
Seriously i don't know there's a difference between a REITs and Stock.

Standard Rakuten Withdrawal is D+1, cut off at 3pm.
Even selling stock also take D+1 for the money to return to your account before you can withdraw.

I think if you put it in this way (below) it's easier to understand
-> Deposit 10k in your Moomoo account
-> Claim the AAPL share from the promo page
-> Hold it for 60 days
-> Do not perform any withdrawal until you got the apple share.
