will take 1 or 2 business day.
SmartSave is not worthy and not convienient if you dun have the Fund coupon (eg extra 10% interest etc)

It's not convenient yes because of the T+1/2 eveytime they trigger and if u want to redeem.

There are always have other MMF which gives better rate than MooMoo, eg. Shopee 3.56% average.
I just use SmartSave coz i have the 10% extra return fund coupon.
And maybe redeem 20k points for MYR 20 fund cashback , MYR 200 min investment.
(I'm talking about MYR fund thou)

Ideally, you would want to use UCITS ETFs due to better taxation. But then moomoo does not allow trading UCITS ETFs yet. So you may have to look at other options such as IBKR (Very low fees) or FSMOne (Fees on the higher side for small trade sizes).

I turn off Smart Save because it forces margin leverage to turn on, which I really dont like. With Smart Save off, I manually withdraw when needed. That said, I only put in for the free shares, MMF is not flexible like some mentioned, need T+1 or T+2 for withdrawal.
I also noticed that MMF interest is not daily, which I don't understand why, but it is only short term placement for me, so I don't really care, just curious.

yeah..i put some cash in but i forgot that i turned smart save off, and it auto invested into my MMF. Then i have to redeem it and it takes T+2.

I've wasted so much time there because the money was originally intended for currency exchange to USD. Now rate not so good anymore, i wasted time and money there.
