Myself have no other details other than an a order confirmation from machines that only says item will be shipped by second half of May. But one thing is clear, don't think will be getting it earlier than you...so it is more agonizing. Hopefully no later than June for me.

Depends on your appetite risk actually, as a famous YouTuber said , glass is still glass and will be prone to scratches (micro scratches included) due to wear and tear especially if you are using a touchscreen. I rather scratch the protector than my precious iPad screen. Usually a good screen protector will be almost as clear as the original.

I went straight with a tempered glass protector right out of the box when I collected it from machines, and aside from being a finger print magnet, my normal eyes cannot detect any difference from the shop's display unit which has no protector on.

But then, nothing beats the true clarity and experience of the actual beauty of this new screen. So if you plan to use it naked, be sure to take good care of it with a really good case or get a protection plan to make replacing the screen easier.

Thanks for sharing for the video, I am going for the Logitech Combo touch too, as the case ergonomics is more suitable for my daily needs with a better protection.

Will be selling off my magic keyboard once am able to secure one from Logitech in the next month or two. Don't want to maintain too many cases.

I am also looking for one...let me know if you all got info. So far I have enquired with Logitech MY CS, and it is sold out around the world for the first wave countries , they will only open up to the remaining markets later in June or July if you can wait.

If you need one badly, then there are a few parallel sellers selling grey import sets on Lazada, mostly US or HK stock and for 11inch. But just beware on the seller profile to avoid scam jobs.

If it is the 11inch, 2020 will fit. For the 12.9 inch, you need to wait for the 2021 magez refresh in June as the dimension is different. Am also looking to purchase one for my unit.

Yeap the function will work as per normal, as the three pin is just a pass through. As for the magnets, the case itself has magnets to reinforce the attachment to magic keyboard.

But the 2020 model is prone to cracks over wear and tear as the material is very thin, so make sure to check the case nicely before you buy. If it is COD, then you can bring along your magic keyboard for a test on the functions.

Actually I was referring to the PITAKA case itself that is made very thin to fit together with the form factor of magic keyboard.

I have not used one, speaking from my friend who bought the 2020 one, he does often detach and attach it from his magic keyboard case.

The case is more like a scratch proof kind but not bump proof, The cracks appear at the corners due to normal wear and tear of constant bumping of the edges with other objects around when not in the magic keyboard.

Hopefully the 2021 version will be more durable.

Me too...got both apple care and machines protection plan. You never know when you need it , especially considering how expensive is the repair cost of this devices.
