[2021] Apple TV 4K Discussion Thread | V1

Hi,
got mine new Apple Tv 4K (2021). I subscribe to Surfshark VPN. For Apple Tv, they request to change the DNS in the Apple tv to theirs (Smart DNS) but that doesn't work most likely to Unifi (my ISP) hijack the DNS (https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4655543/all). So, I decided to activate the VPN on my router (Archer C6) instead. The problem is I still can"t any solution for this. This going on for a week. Anyone here have successfully connected to VPN (US) for the apple TV by any method ?
