I have gigabyte z87 d3hp. I live in KL, anyone know who repair motherboard PROFESSIONALY.
Problem as listed.

Previously alrdy have issue, it will require ram reseat inorder to boot up. Then i reinstall new bios and it work!!

Fast forward to today, i had to do some upgrade, after unplugging and plugging all the cable. It would not boot up,
It will On&off 13seconds, screen output blackscreen sometime (once every 4-5++ of bootloop).
Bring it to a store to check, he say not bios issue, may be chipset issue, cpu working fine.

I have personally try different ram slot, different cpu, different psu. No luck

Lol what? I just went there like a few hours ago, they guess is chipset. Anything specific store you know? Even if it’s chipset, i would still want to fix it if it’s cheaper than buying a secondhand motherboard.

I've several old motherboards from 2000s like the Abit BX6 and TX5. Both with leaking caps. Can power on but not stable. Decided not to repair them. Too expensive.

Probably, you didn't search thoroughly all the shops there or some of them were closed on CMCO due to the few cases of Covid-19 happened in the building earlier. I send you a contact number, maybe he could help you out. And may we know how much did you brought that motherboard, 8 years ago?

Thanks, i alrdy contacted him. He said he only repair laptop motherboard and not desktop motherboard.
I dont remember how much i bought because i wasnt the one that paid for it hahaha, all i remember is that it was a fairly new model. Based on my research, it appear to be a mid-high end motherboard.

my advice:
1. time to build a new pc. sell the usable old parts.
2. get an used z87 or z97 mobo.

MOBO issue usually not recommended for 3rd party to repair it for you. Get a new MOBO or look for 2nd-hand MOBO. 8 years is basically enough already. Time to upgrade.
