oic... o thought if temp reach subzero then the vcore oso no nid so much, coz last time forgot wher the heck i read that the fella use phase cooling, n he uses much lower vcore to reach high fsb (lower vcore compare to wc or air cooling)... hmmm, 4.4GHz quad core... cool... maybe if he uses phase/cascade cooling like extremeocer doing, he can actually maintain it at 4.4ghz... hehehehe... btw, 1 stupid question... can xp support/utilise quad core??? i mean xp pro 32-bit...

No matter how expensive the P965 was, it could not even beat mainstream P35 today. Already hate this kind of stuff.

yupp, thats correct

only made some p965 board still expensive coz they built with high grades component compared to basic 35p board as u can see those 35p with high grades component price also sky high

@leslie0880
assuming from your siggy that you are using an asus striker extreme?

if yes, then i highly doubt it is your procssor limitation, it is more of a mobo limitation sweat.gif

tat wht is mean got a "Big Wall" for OC lo....
i know the Striker Extrem jus can push the max fsb around 360-370.....haiz.....

btw this proc cant go up 500FSB?i saw some L723A can go up to 500 FSB....
this 1 4Ghz is Around 450 only.....

dude...mobo fsb wall and cpu fsb wall for ure case

depends on 4 things.
1.Northbridge voltages
2.Southbridge voltages - dont overvolt too much
3.HTT/FSB voltages
4.Rams u have and straps on it ( hint hint look at ure JEDEC specs...its a start)

u can definately push it more.. just that u dont know how..

and second overclocking is for 1 reason only
benching is ok
but isnt it better to bench a 24/7 setup
and u need to balance out with ure GPU.
