Alternatives

Personally using Darktable. Will try RawTherapee and lanun Affinity photo. Lightroom is great because there's alots of presets online.

Used Audacity to mix some tunes/OSTs for a production. Its basic but works well.

Anyone else have tried alternatives?

inb4 ts bodo for using presets. Editing/cleaning 400+ raw files in one go is exhausting.

If its recorded on a phone, the built-in ones are more than fine for me. I use final cut on my iMac though.

Shopee ones are hacked apps. Not gonna introduce shit to my work comp. Official, be it free or paid means proper updates/support

I was tempted to subscribe to Adobe for my side projects, but I was afraid of bullshit like this.

Nowadays I use

drawing = Clip Studio Pro PC, one-time only pay
vector art = inkscape - free, Affinity Designer(PC, iOS, one-time pay)
image editing = GIMP

Some obscure high level functions still available on Adobe shit, but prosumer people like me have absolutely no use for them.
I thought DaVinci Resolve is free? I have it.

I'm shite at being creative/drawing. Had my hand in Gimp 10 years back. Never was good at it.

I actually have Resolve, claimed it in an email I saved. But FCP is noice.
Thank god I didn't delete my Lightroom. Got it free iinm

Actually right, do one have a say in the industry? because most of these alternatives somehow short of what adobe cant deliver..

And Adobe is well know for ass when come to their fees.

Depends, if local alot of places use legacy equipments

Alternative is fine but not industrial standard. Imagine the nightmare dealing with vendors (printers) because you use some open source format instead of adobe.

Well if they support, then that's great but most of them will blame at your files if the color doest match.

Its not too bad as the paid ones are usually supports adobe formats
