Dashcam is to record others accident . If someone hit u from the side, there is no way ur dashcam can capture.those recent accident one, how many actually have dashcam

Even if u didnt want others to see the footage, u can always delete them
And since when dashcam is expensive ? Less than 200 can get and can install urself. Very simple job
