my closed partner was suffered from schizophrenia for about 2 years plus until now, she had some major symptoms include hallucinations , delusions, and uncontrollable mood (sometimes crying, sometimes over excited). She is still taking medical treatment, and according to her phycological doctor the result varies depends on each patients, some patient took 5 years to recovered and some even whole life taking medicine just to control the condition.

Yes, their thinking might be illogical because they suffered from hallucinations or delusions, in which they hardly able to differentiate which is real which is not when it is serious. Standing from normal people, we just tried to be more understandable and patience when they behave that way (such as talking something you don't understand / scold us out of no reason due to hallucinations).

Do let me know if you need any intro of phycology clinic
