Hi Guys,

I have read thru' the tread and got solutions here and there. But I do not know if that can be used for my specific fix.

I have a K800i from Vodafone AUS. It has all Vodafone customised settings/application which I want to get rid and back to original SE setting. I called up SE support and they can't assist due to contractual thing with Vodafone. Also, I want to be able to view chinese and english characters but this only allow english as SE support says this phone is released in Australia and do not support chinese? cry.gif

I did a master reset on the phone and lost most of my themes, ringtones etc. I also did a firmware upgrade, so I guess mine is now CID51/52.

Will anyone is kind or free enough to guide me step-by-step? icon_question.gif
I need to totally get rid of Vodafone thingy and be able to read chinese and english. Simple requests and hoping for simple answers too.

Thank you.

You need to reflash to get rid of Vodafone firmware.

Is that dangerous? like not able to boot later?
Do I use XSS to do that with MAIN/FS firmware? If so, which version of firmware do I need? I got a few from Europe to America but nothing from ASIA.

If you insist to get APAC region firmware, try Google it. If can't get it, head over to shop and ask for reflash. You have to pay for sure.

The risk is there. Having the wrong step, you will have a dead phone.

Thanks. Shall try later when fully confident.
