use xs++ la..its easier..latest version is 3.2 dev1..

no, patch i still use setool..xs++ now can browse internal files..same as far..but has fewer steps to go in the files..

nope..you hav to search for the patch made for ur firmware..the patch i gave is onli for w810 r4ea031 generic..

i think the onli diff is maybe u cant read/write chinese in ur phone...

of what i understand from ur post, it seems like u wan to select read gdfs/patch straight after u'd identify ur phone using setool2lite..u had to disconnect the phone first. onli after that u can do other things..patch, read/write gdfs..onli one thing can be done on one time u connect ur phone. eg. if u wan to read gdfs after identifying ur phn, after it said succesful, unplug d phn first.. take out d battery again then select read gdfs..

do u flash ur firmware using phone xs++ or setool? if using seus i dun think u will encounter this problem.. try to use xs++ and put customize.xml for ur phone in tpa/preset/custom..

i think u didnt put customize.xml in tpa/preset/custom folder..that's why it said configuration error..

xs++ cant patch w810 la..wait till friday when i go back home ill tell u how to flash firmware n how to patch..but first, download n install all the drivers 4 w810 u can found on the net..

if u use xs++ 3.1 or higher..just connect ur phone and click fsx.. when all the files been enumerated, browse to ifs/settings/camera.. put the new driver in this directory after u had backup and remove the original one..

@giaogiao..i dun think we cn upgrade our walkman player..

just flash w800 main n fs to ur phone..google on step by step guide.there are lots of guide to convert k750 to w800 out thre..

anyone here generous enuff to zip all those modding software and email to me? i just lost all in my harddisk cos lappy got fully format...pls3x..

just do a full flash to ur phn..or u can try using seus first..see whether it can reflash ur fw or not..

google+download k800i original icons and menu.ml.. then upload both to ur phone..

k800/k810 can apply patch to change its skin..google for k770..might hav..but skin onli..media player cannot be converted to walkman..

yep..warranty will be void..but only if the SECS notice tht u'd modded ur phone just revert all the things to the original state b4 sending ur phone for warranty..

wat do u want to mod? ill try putting up a tuto here...want to revert just use seus..update it then it will be back to original condition..

this tuto is for those who first time wanna mod their phn..also, the vkp patch i gave up there is for w810 r4ea031 generic firmware onli..if urs is r4db005 or r4ea031 china, pls google and download from other websites.. to check firmware press >*<<*<* on standby screen..go to service info then software version..


first of all, download seus@'sony ericsson update service' from se official website itself..
just follow all the instructions in seus(no need to update if u don want,we only want to install the drivers needed)
then follow these steps..

1) switch off phone, take out battery and mem stick...download, and run setool2lite(i use v1.01)
2) select phone type w810,make sure interface is usb and speed is 921600
3) in misc files, select the .vkp file
5) connect dcu 60 to comp
6) select write script on setool2lite
7) put battery back to phone, hold 'c' button then connect phone to dcu60
8) wait till some words appear at setool2lite, then release 'c' button
9) follow onscreen instructions(u'll be prompted to take out+reinsert battery and disconnect+reconnect cable)
10)the vkp patching is considered success when it write these "VKP script executed OK
Elapsed:xx secs."
11)disconnect cable, take out and reinsert battery(wait approx five sec b4 reinsert batt), switch on phn..



p/s:thats the longest post ive ever posted remember that im not gonna be responsible if u brick ur phn..however, u can always try to do fullfash if something wrong happen.. ..ive done lots of time patching and flashing..the worst ive encountered is wsod..fullflash then everything ok d..
