since i need to write n read chinese, i'm using a china main for my k800(flashed to k810). Those patches available are for generic main only. Finally i got to understand y it doesn't work in the 1st place. So i learnt porting patches and got those patches working... not to say easy but it's kinda troublesome sometime when u need to compare both firmwares n get their offsets to match the patch value. guess it's the same just that they have different base address. But i may be wrong since i only tried doing it on my k800.

yes, wat i mean is the calculation is same just that u have to use base address for db2010.
as far as i know for db2010 CID36, base address is +44020000.

BTW, i'm looking for some k550 firmwares. I have a dead k550 with me now. Trying to revive it. tongue.gif

I need my old K810i APAC fonts back..i tried the method in the first page and it does not work?? Does anyone have the Font Pack for the original APAC Chinese fonts?? pls I NEED IT!

Btw i want to upgrade my firmware but i've been reading that u need some custpack to finalise the patching
Currently my fone firmware is as follows

Platform: DB2020
OTP CID: 51
EROM CID: 52
EROM Color: Red

I just need detailed instructions what to do..im currently using XS++ v3.1. Just don't want to get stuck halfway thats all. Appreciate it guys!

no need custpack because xs has the custpack for u..
at the customization just select k800 apac and just flashed it..
it would be the same rite?
if k800 is flashed to k810..u need ur own custpack..which is the lightfix..

the other one do i get GENERIC or CHINA?

i think better u use generic only..
because it is used by many..
but there is no difference..maybe region only..
yeah..and for fs..its contain language..unless u x kesah about language..u can main bantai fs from any region..
