Updating it through SEUS will be fine. It should be risk zero if you follow the step correctly and update to a newer firmware

Number 1'2 2.8 camdriver seems better as the buffer size is bigger and the 3MP photo is saved at 1.2MB per file.

-REG setting changed
-command setting changed
-remove auto Brightness. why? -> (nothing happens)
-remove auto exposure. why? -> (nothing happens)
-VR-fps and VF-fps is set to default (for some reason it takes much better pics)

Follow my tutorial for CID 52 at first page. Change the directory of "/tpa/preset/system/menu" to "Acoustics= files_to_upload/ifs/settings/acoustic"
Recommended acoustic driver is aero_ma_loud+MY zapfv6_megabass acoustics(for db2020 phones such as k800i/k810i/w850i/w880i)

Check first page for all the files you need.

Choosing language has nothing to do with firmware update. Even you choose French or Spanish and you have a correct CDA number to APAC region, you will get APAC region firmware.

Try it yourself and you will know which one of the camera driver suit it more as different people will like their photos to have different. Some like it to be more sharp but some like it to be more warn.

Personally, I feel Number 1 2.87 is very sharp camera driver.

You have to test out to know which one suit you. Modded camera driver has sharper photo and some of the driver fully utilize the camera module to come out a nice photo.

Then you have to do it manually I assume. As I tried with my K800i, all the menu and etc will revert back to Original setting.
