i m using R8BA024 CHINA SM MAIN ..but i cant found anyone so far ..juz found Generic 1 ....

i wanna patch my K810i and i wanna ask if i use generic MAIN but my phone is actually CHINA 1 , will it affect my k810i ? will spoilt my phone ?

i wanna patch it but a lot of problems occured .... cannot read GDFS files and so on

~ do i really need to flash my MAIN 1st b4 patch 1 ? and does backup GDFS file important or compulsory so that ur phone wont dead ?

can i use the W850i flash menu thing to upload to my frens K800i?
coz he wan do same as mine the flash menu theme

if not mistaken , its not compatible ...

it cant be use on K800i

k800i does not support flash menu or flash themes..

K800 and K810i does not support flash theme.

guys , i juz re-flash my firmware due to i 4get to tick "bypass DB2020 security" in SE tool lite .

i used XS++ to reflash again .... and everythings gone smooth , and same goes to patching ..

but , after patching , it got ntg special ... i patched my icon to walkman skin and guess wat , its still same .

then i tried on 240sec ringtone , still 10sec after patch ...,

is it the patch not valid or my phone got problems ?

everything seems fine after flash and i still can open my phone .

eh bro, u still dont get it? try do urself of quick access.

did u get the patches for the correct firmware?
you cant use APAC patches for EMEA firmware for example

i use qamaker.exe to generate a new 1 ..meaning i put my MAIN there and it generate a CHINA_sm quick access patch for me ...

i din use APAC or GENERIC main patch ...

i am pretty sure all the guidelines is correct. maybe this patch dont support the china firmware? i dont know about that.

try to learn it by urself 1st. its not difficult to do, just u need to do research b4 doing it.

hi , u able to patch using the CHINA fimware ?

actually u need to put your firmware file in the add file section not the firmware upgrade section..then put the quick access patch in the MISC file..after that hit flash and dont forget to check for bypass db2020 security
*fyi u will not loose your current data in the phone

after this u just need to check the quick access patch only and put your vkp file in the MISC file then hit WRITE SCRIPT

just use moded icon..it is much better yet nicer...
