Noob here.new in modding activity.i already have USB Flash Driver & XS+++.My first problem is installing USB Flash Driver.In USB flash driver have 2 files ggsemc(setup information file) and ggsemc(sys file).Right click on ggsemc and click install shows "the INF file u selected is does not supported this method installation". ggsemc.sys dont have option to install.try to run with regedit but it shows file is not registry script.So i assume ggemc.sys is not the file to install.Can anyone help me to solve this problem

the way i do it is when you try to connect your phone it will turn on.
then select the USB flash driver location and let it install on its own

first..u need to open the xs..and xtract the usb flash..(if cmpressed)..just put it anywhere...
then..u press the c button and insert the usb cable into ur phone..
ur system will detect new hardware..
u settle the new hardware first which is the usb flash...
u find for driver u placed and the driver is installed...just like that...

which 1 is the signed driver ?

i got 2 , 1 is 10++kb , 1 is 350kb ++

Added on January 12, 2008, 11:02 ami tried again and my pc juz install new driver such as wat modem driver , which got 3 , and after that it will bcome transfer mode .

it didnt prompt me for detect new hardware and ask me to install the driver .

how ?

you have to turn off your phone first.
then connect to XS++ or watever you are using.
when you hold "c" your phone will turn on and it will detect USB flash driver to be installed.
from there you can install it.

ok..i tried in 2 ways .

open X++ and press connect . i off my phone , press C , and wait for the XS ++ respond . it shown cannot open the phone communication port .

and in another way , i juz off the phone , press C , and connect the cable to my pc ...

it juz detect as a normal phone memory card and phone card. didnt ask me to install or detect new hardware .

i tried for whole nite d , even go to SE-nse and myk810i to google up...still

~juz wanna confirm , "c" button is it button 2 ... ...correct rite ?

then how come i cant install the so-called USB flash driver ?

i dun noe why i still keep on getting the "EPIUSB" error ... evendor i try all the step like plug n install, the result also the same... i really really curios on upgrading the firmware from k750i to w800i ... but always stuck at that step ... can any1 help ...

if u all stil cant install the usb flash driver jz download SEUS n install in ur pc..SEUS oso can act as usb flash driver..cheers

i also follow the steps above last nite ... the end result is the same ...ntg installed

the 'C' button is the CANCEL button.. the one with only C letter written on it..not the dial button no. 2 ..

yup refer to scorps's post, the C button is cancel button , not button 2

done modding acoustic and cam driver . wat i could say is the sound is louder than b4 and the camera , haven try out yet .... should press C (cancel)

~ wat cam driver u all using ? juz find out my updated cam driver is terrible . i dunno how to describe but i blieve the stock driver wont b like tis ....the movie quality is damn

feel rock.... ...wat cam driver u all using ..currently using the 35fps cam driver and its sucks .... really sucks man .. the video quality obviously distorted ... u can see the di=ff even u r 1st time using it ...

some one said better try 2.7 kopitiris driver,

you could maybe ask the pros, but its very easy to mod your phone.

try read the instruction carefully for many times,

use kopritis 2.7 wit 30 fps video ba..dun jz try modding..try use the latest method dat is patch change ur media player skin to walkman skin

the walkman skin is v1 or v2 de??
