Hi all,
I intend to but a laptop similar to Dell Workstation, 15 inch, with 8 cores processor for my working purpose. Somehow i am attracted to oled display and i found Aero 15 XC Oled is offering on what i crave on.

Does anyone has experience with Gigabyte product, especially Aero series?

RM7500 is not a small amount for me to buy a laptop but i want to make every penny worthy. Or, you guys can recommend similar product?

Thank you very much!

Hi, i has actually looking in to this model before.

But later found online most user actually complain about buggy performance control software, on-off fan (noisy), fan faulty issue and lossy hinge, then come with the 2 years warranty that need to send in limited service center in Malaysia, i then gave up.

Unless you are more into OLED which actually cost expensive, chances of burn in (although very less issue now a day), impact on battery life (4K Resolutions) , there has some other laptop to choose.

What's more, 4K resolution in 15 inches actually quite limited for usability (my opinion).

But the color quality, brightness, and deep black really a selling point.

Hope my info help you.

Actually my intention for the laptop is to do programming. But the oled part is attracting me. I have see alot of sample laptop in lowyat and found out most of the screen is white-ish and not vibrant. That makes me look into oled screen. The closest to oled is the IPS. I heard msi mini led is good by pricey.

The oled price is a kill off as it is pricey and most of the brand selling oled laptop cost above rm7k.

I might change my mind due to price issue. Thats why i am looking for alternative.

Yes. I need long battery if can. Light is the best. Thin is not issue but not too thick.

If thats the case, i will drop my intention as it is pricey. I dont want burn my dollar for trouble, unless they improve.

I went lowyat to did survey. Closest display against oled is IPS and samsung will come out with new oled 90hz. So, i plan to drop my desire now and wait for it. However, is there a good 15inch laptop which offer 8 cores with good IPS display? I dont want white-ish display.

I saw ryzen laptop but not sure if it support vmware as i need vmware to do my programming work.

Yes. My work requires 2 screen to work in optimum mode.
