I just do a withdraw from PRS acc today. Basically is a manual process. Since I am already 55, I can test this out. I e-mail to Versa, stating the withdraw amount and PRS acc number. They e-mail a PDF form. Need to fill in bank name, account no and signature (electronic).

Their reply after submitting PDF form,
"Thank you for completing the PRS transaction form,
We will initiate the process to cash your PRS funds on 8 April, this process will take up to 5 business days, and we will let you know once the cash out has been completed."

Looks I going to get the money, in more than 1 week due to Raya holidays.

BTW the correct Versa Customer Service contact is email support@versa.com.my or phone +60378903500.

Investing in Versa PRS kan, does it mean the withdrawal could only be done when it comes to retirement age?
*
Yes, at age of 55 onwards, can withdraw. Send request e-mail to support for money withdrawal.

So it does work similar to the PRS offered by FundSuperMart, i.e. it can be taken out once reach retirement, or there's a penalty involved?
Got me thinking if it is worthy, as the time horizon is too far out. I mean, if stuck with under-performing funds, rugi lor

I did a test of withdraw money from Versa PRS since I am already that old biggrin.gif . So far OK and no penalty.

No comment on FundSuperMart or other funds since never use before.
