anyone get 4% in past month?
*
They don't give lumpsum 4%

You will get basic rate (2.75% is it?) end of the month, you should have already receive this, look for 'Payout' in your transaction

The bonus rate will be given around 11th-15th of the month (this month), look for 'Bonus' in the transaction log

This is from my observation la

there is a payout on 24 nov in units...
and i get a rebate on 14 nov 22
but i dunno how to count the percentage

Payout is the base rate should be 2.75%

Rebate or bonus is the extra % above the base rate

4% only applies on Nov so base rate has been paid out and now wait another 2 weeks for bonus 1.25%

4% is only started from Nov. The latest payout should be just the base rate of 2.75%, the additional 1.25% should be able to get in the mid of next month.

Does this mean that after the promo ended, I'm should not withdraw for ~2 weeks since I have to wait for the bonus payout? And the funds will be sitting for base rate only for that ~2 weeks until payout.

*Assuming promo ended without others.

I think actually the payout is not 2.75%. It is just the income distribution of the fund.
What we earn from Versa Cash is actually the increase in the unit price of fund, if u observe the available balance, actually it goes up almost daily.
so I'm not much care about the payout

so far that is what I observed

Agreed. The payout seems much lower than the daily interests in length of a month

You can still withdraw and just wait for the bonus paid out

The best is to leave a minimum of 50 so that later you can withdraw with the full bonus

Paid out is to adjust the daily average of the fund hence it is adjusted only once a month

While rebate is to cover any shortfall of the projected returns

2.75% is paid out plus rebate plus daily adjustment of funds

Can use the difference between beginning and ending monthly balance to calculate the return percent?

Seem like still not attractive to open Versa account even though there is ongoing promo by ringgitplus

Compare to buy gold from bank/hellogold
1. Buy & Sell gap is too huge.
2. HG charge fees on storing into their wallet

This is buy ETF for gold, way good option that digital gold /physical gold.

Buy, Sell and switching - 0%
Management fees is low

So i prefer this option unless you plan to buy from bursa ETF (low volume), USD Gold ETF (another option). Those Stashaway/ Robo got also but seldom dedicated for gold. I just checked Affin, they charge 2% on sales

Bonus is different from payout and rebates

Payout it is fixed while rebates is to cover the shortfall of base rate

Bonus is the promo currently additional 1.25% on top of base rate

GLD is cheaper is in the long term

RM is cheaper to buy in Bursa Gold ETF which is underlying fund

Can’t be bothered with both as it is feeder fund to those 2 Bursa ETF 🤦‍♀️ while paying management fee
