Dresser height also has a relationship with the dresser stool/chair height as well.

standard one should be about 75cm height.. then follow with chair about 70cm.. just like normal working desk.. too low, u might need to bend and take more energy to stand up.. most importantly, space.. space is never enough for girls to keep their items.. doesnt matter how big is it, they will surely fill up every corner..

Bring the girl to IKEA, ask her to try out the IKEA desser table, ask her if she prefer it to be higher or lower lo? If wanna test different height, just go find the adjustable work desk and try out different height. If it's supposed to be a surprise, then find another girl with similar height. If all else failed, follow IKEA's "standard" height lo.

For their std dining table height is ok..not too high.. I use that as a computer table

The height 75 or so +/- of the dresser generally OK but the chair need to fit the user and the dresser so legs not hanging in the air.

Not a girl, but I used to do makeup for theatre, and the most comfortable I've found for long makeup sessions is around elbow height when sitting down measure the distance between elbow and floor when your girl is sitting down, try to aim for a table somewhere around that height.

Tips:

- the larger the mirror, the better, bonus points if it's well lit (with lightbulbs or led lights around the frame, pic below for reference. coincidentally the pictured table is an IKEA LINMON desk)


- the distance between mirror and edge of dresser/table where your girl sits shouldn't be too wide, there are times where your girl would want to go near as possible to the mirror for certain parts of makeup.
- there's never enough storage space but drawers don't have to be too deep, most makeup stuff tends to be stored horizontally so shallow drawers are decent enough, too deep and it's wasted space
