Lembah Beringin is a failed township in the Hulu Selangor district in the northern part of Selangor. Only a few people can be seen living here. The hype of KLIA being built nearby this area made all developers rush to develop this place during the 90s.

But in end, KLIA ended being built at Sepang causing this township development to fail. This is then was further enhanced by the 1997 financial crisis. The developer went bankrupt and many of the property buyers are still paying their bank installment until this day. The development was supposed to be completed and handed over to their owners in 1998. But unfortunately, now Lembah Beringin has become a graveyard of houses.

Back then really ghost town. Not much car and ppl bt alot of shoplot houses small factory. I think even now if u wanna operate a small factory illegally with no rent no one will care.

the place its not that ulu or even rural
just that the location is unfortunately between two major towns (tg.malim & bukit beruntung)
like you could live in one of those towns so nobody live in between those town

Lembah Beringin Sdn Bhd bankrupt already but Land & General Bhd (L&G) still around I think.

Yup some of the houses got completed earlier and got some people staying there. But most of them are empty houses as most people decided to move somewhere else.

i went out from highway into lembah beringin, looking for gas station as i din notice my gas was almost empty, went back out cant even find a gas station in there. its like a dead town. lifeless

Eh?ayam remember last time my dad brought go there c houses is done,some even got ppl move in staying...that time ayam small onry

he was offered unit by developer since cannot repay him payment for other projects,but at the end he din took as he feel very far for basic necessities...

Those days people use to think Subang Jaya is an ulu place, but see now Subang Jaya is a totally different place now.

Man if you got some cash around, just complete the doorway, redo the wiring, add solar, add tesla batteries, knock the walls in between down and you can claim this place as your own palace.

Unfortunately lembah beringin is not between port klang and KL or KL and KLIA.

Lembah beringin gonna be a ghost town for a few more decades

my parent had a plan to buy one in lembah beringin back then. glad they never did.

Last time Bukit Beruntung also.
Mahathir got promise and even visit the place, and now they are what failed dreams are made of, nightmares.

use to work there in 2003, i still wonder how Land & General still survive till this day though.

A sought after place by Perodua assembly plant workers. 2 years ago you could buy a 1 storey terrace house there for under RM50k. Even a well maintained "jalan tikus" exist that could get you to plant in 5 minutes.

It was built, operational and then shut down 2 years ago.

Now you must go to Kerling for schools.

Many clusters were abandoned, however the earlier phases of terrace houses were completed and are around 30% occupied.

Bungalows? There are quite a few "hippy" type Aussies and Brits that live there. There is one crazy Brit that lives there that built his bungalow off debris and anything he could scavenge. Cheap, quite cooling at night and mostly no one about to disturb you.

Unlike Lembah Beringin, Bukit Beruntung is quite a busy township nowadays. Entertainment may be lacking but residentials are quite populated, wont say it is a dead place as far as residence is concerned
