Use dry mode. People think it only works in genting or cameron. I stay in PJ. It works. You just have to leave it for 10 mins and it will cool the room exactly like cool mode but it will use a lot less energy. My electricity dropped from 900+ to averaging between 400-600 depending on month. 4 airconds, every night and sometimes whole day on weekends. Recently just serviced the aircond and it's freaking cold. Have to switch off the ac every now and then even with dry mode.

Servicing the AC is the key to coolness and energy efficiency.

A lot of people skimp this out not realizing how much the bill can run up just from inefficient ac alone.

Very minimal I think. I am using Panasonic inverter and use dry mode in the hall, can see the compressor fan turn very slowly. lol

I up you with even better tips, only turn on aircond when it's cold weather so your aircond work less and save power. nod.gif

Based on heat loss calculations the solution to jimat on aircon is 3 ways.

1. Insulate
2. Insulate
3. Insulate

My bill always below RM100, 2 inverter aircond and 1 normal.

I use the 2hp inverter most of the time. On from 11am to 4pm, continue 7pm to 11pm.

Also set 25c. Rainy season set to 26 as it gets too cold.
