Car number plate font, there are so many types in the market. C649, CY45i, WH45, A7, 4565K...

I was searching on JPJ website, it just mentioned the standard measurement of the number plate, but never mention which fonts are allow and which are not.

Bro & sis, anyone have the guide? Please enlighten me.

I'm using TF 8623 type but not the chrome version.. Normal white version.. This is my favourite type of number plate font.. Small and the 8 is very nice

None is legal
Follow jpj spec is arialbold font.

Edit.. hmm the font specs are now missing from jpj website
Not surprised if they suddenly revert back.

characters and numbers must be spaced
numbers cannot be sticked too closely together
ONLY white font and black plate
and alphabet must be arialbold font.

alot of accessories shop also know the rules but some just dont care and sell it, not their problem also

its either kopi duit or JPJ notice that you will need to go back and check. (very very troublesome expecially during this period)


to enlighten you: you change, you bare the consequences.

ask the shop, they surely know which is legal
there is only that many legal fonts u can use...the others are just illegal
