much better looking than the heavily portrayed manchu costume and the queue hairstyle, until ppl thought the queue (pigtail) hairstyle is chinese hairstyle

that's right. manchu culture is barbaric, they should be banished from china. free manchuria.

even shanghai style qipao is not han chinese costume despite being invented by shanghainese during roc republican era.

geez....why han chinese can't move with the times and accept qipao as chinese costume. screw han chauvinism.

Hanfu is the true traditional chinese dress. Chinese been wear hanfu since ancient time, until destroy by Qing dynasty manchu pipul.

Hanfu influence is far and wide. Japanese kimono was influenced by hanfu from Tang dynasty when japan and Tang dynasty had close interaction.

Ming dynasty hanfu influences korean hanbok when korea was a vassal state of Ming.

Aint nobody likes Qing dress which was forced on the chinese population. Its no surprising tat chinese want to revive the true traditional dress of the chinese pipul.

in taiwan, young taiwanese don't care about reviving hanfu dress because chinese culture has nothing to with taiwan.

vietnamese people are very proud of aodai even though it's inspired by manchu banner dress.

if you hate manchu people so much, let manchuria break away from china. they deserve their own country.

I agree.

Because whatever you guys are wearing now is basically a Manchurian costume.

Chinese Han ancient culture (non manchu and non ccp branding) is preserved in Japan btw.

wrong. japan only borrow tang dynasty culture doesn't mean they preserve it.

qipao and aodai, despite inspired by manchu banner dress, it's quintessentially chinese and vietnamese cultural dress respectively.

and in taiwan, the so called last bastion of chinese culture, there is no hanfu revival at all. hanfu revival only happen in china and supported by xi jinping.

This map is wrong and doesn't exist. Manchukuo era, Tibet and Xinjiang owned by ROC and commies were separatist rebels in the north.

i'm just mocking racist ktards who demonize manchu people as if they are uncultured, uncivilized and barbaric.

btw, roc didnt control tibet when current dalai lama was ruling the serfdom state of tibet, until prc liberated/occupied it in 1950
