I can understand Chinese wanna have their own special cosplay style build up. But it shouldn't be mix with ethnic pride as the video mentioned they could spark hate among each other.

Imagine you cosplay Han and your grandfather always marah2 you. Then one day find out you are actually Manchu descendents .... Or the girl you love is Manchu ..... And many more unwanted drama.

Silently build up old conflicts that died long long time ago.
