IMHO, the character designs are too generic though. Looks like the 3D models you see in games like Quake and Unreal Tournament.

If you design more unique characters, it'll definitely make your movie even more memorable.

But kudos for this good effort!

Actually, you can always do a 'special edition' in which maybe on some sections of the spaceships having photos of our first Angkasawan being hung there
