QUOTE(Oltromen Ripot @ Apr 4 2021, 07:02 PM) if the recent cases of deaths purportedly after taking vaccine is of any concern, it will be the speed of denials. i personally find the charade disgusting and untrustworthy. everything immediately filed under to "penyakit sedia ada"; whatever assurance of compensation became a joke. 94% of deaths in US have at least 2.6 comorbidities. Source: https://acdis.org/articles/news-94-patients...ion-surrounding Malaysia 70% have at least 1 comorbidities. Source: https://codeblue.galencentre.org/2021/01/11...nd%20foreigners. You know, with that logic... 70% of Covid19 deaths in Malaysia cannot be classified as death from Covid19 because there are at least 1 comorbidities (penyakit yang sedia ada). |

QUOTE KOTA KINABALU: The Health Ministry will continue to use the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine as the benefits outweigh the reported adverse effects, says Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah. "It will continue, there is no reason why we should stop it," said the Health director-general. He was asked about Malaysia’s plan to decide on the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine following cases of blood clots and deaths in the United Kingdom. Dr Noor Hisham said there were reports of adverse effects from some countries using the vaccine. He said they have put on hold the usage of the vaccine for a while to look into the link between blood clots and its side effects. "Looking into the incidents, they are very rare, the benefits outweigh the risks. Nonetheless, we must be very careful on the use of AstraZeneca," he told reporters after visiting the Tuaran district hospital about 40km from here on Sunday (April 4). Earlier on Sunday, Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said the decision on the use of AstraZeneca would be made during a vaccine committee meeting this Tuesday (April 6). Dr Noor Hisham said Malaysia has so far registered Covid-19 vaccines from Pfizer including those from Belgium and Germany. The AstraZeneca vaccines from two countries under the Covax facilities with SinoVac were given conditional approval. Norway suspended the AstraZeneca vaccine on March 24 after reporting four deaths while 20,000 people suffered serious side effects. Hmmm |

The government has decided to proceed with the use of the Covid-19 vaccine manufactured by AstraZeneca, Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba said today.
According to Dr Adham, this decision was made based on clinical data which proved the benefits outweighed the harm. "We will continue to use AstraZeneca in our country, as based on clinical data that we have obtained, we found that there are still more benefits compared to harm," he told reporters when met here at the Health Ministry. |

UK advises alternative vaccine for under 30's :
https://www.theguardian.com/society/2021/ap...-says-regulator TLDR : 79 blood clot cases found out of 20 millions jabs administered for the AstraZeneca vaccine. Younger people there are at less risk of ICU admissions hence the risk / benefit is not as obvious as for older people. Further data and investigation needed for the AstraZeneca vaccine. QUOTE(trusol @ Apr 4 2021, 03:29 PM) I'm not anti-vax too. But I don't like the idea that I cannot choose the vaccine of my choice. That's why I didn't bother to register. stay at home forever plzMy reasoning is this: If I can choose the vaccine that I prefer, anything happens to me, it's my own fault. If the gov chose a vaccine for me, and something happens to me, it's the gov's fault. yellowpika liked this post

QUOTE(Grammar Police @ Apr 8 2021, 10:37 AM) Like it or not his right and this narrative is being repeated everywhere.I see more and more ppl online voicing fear for the vaccination program as a whole Govt needs to stay on top and control the narrative. Its just gonna get worse. Control the narrative doesnt need spinning, need more effective forceful fact based communication And they have to drop the anti-vaxx angle for ppl refusing to register. I feel its counterproductive. We are losing this fight bit by bit I feel |
