Those already registered, can go to your registration page and re-assess your assessment. First question asking whether you're interested to take vaccine, choose NO.

I'm not anti-vxxxx, I registered on the first day. But I got no confident for AZ

Is it safe to self medicate with blood thinners? What about aspirin? Aspirin not easily accessible in Malaysia, right?

I remember buying aspirin 3 years ago in guardian.
eventhough OTC, still need to convince the pharmacists as to the reason AND have to register purchase & contact details into pharmacists' logbook (not mysejahtera logbook).

Good luck because AZ blood clots only reported after 30 days

Expect at least 60 or more cases to come from 600k shots rclxms.gif

where's your data on this?

18 million people in UK got AZ vaccine and only 30 blood clot cases.

Thats 1 in 600,000.

UK data is low because reported cases only after 30 days from the shots

Just wait when Malaysia start so you will see sure 60 to 100 with blood clots maybe you should be the 1st one to tell us then rclxms.gif

I'm not anti-vax too. But I don't like the idea that I cannot choose the vaccine of my choice. That's why I didn't bother to register.

My reasoning is this:

If I can choose the vaccine that I prefer, anything happens to me, it's my own fault.

If the gov chose a vaccine for me, and something happens to me, it's the gov's fault.

Yes, some more Denmark, Thailand already banned AZ. We still insists on bringing in. I don't mind if we have to pay for the vaccine, at least should give us a choice

Thailand banned AZ? I don't think so. Thailand is primarily depending on AZ for most of its shots because they are producing it themselves.

Yes, a senior Thai monk died a few hours after taking AZ but it's hard to prove because he has other sicknesses too.

Nope, you signed a waiver form. Gov will not be responsible.

It's still their fault, just that they cannot be held responsible because you have signed a waiver.

ISKANDAR PUTERI: Malaysia will review the use of the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine following cases of blood clots and deaths in the United Kingdom.

Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said the decision on the AstraZeneca vaccine would be made during a vaccine committee meeting this Tuesday (April 8).

"We will receive a report from a group of experts on the latest developments pertaining to this vaccine as there are several cases being reported as well as from the United Kingdom regulatory body about blood clots and we will look at the data available.

"However, the public should not worry as Malaysia has yet to receive the delivery of the AstraZeneca vaccine even though it has been (conditionally) approved for use," he added.

Khairy said this in a press conference following a meeting with Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad at Kota Iskandar here on Sunday (April 4).

He added that the government had ordered about 6.4 million doses and another 1.4 million doses via Covax, expected to be delivered in May.

Khairy pointed out that the ministry had several backup plans if the AstraZeneca vaccine will not be used in Malaysia.

He also said Pfizer had offered another 12.8 million doses of the vaccine on top of the 30 million doses already ordered.

Presently, only the PfizerBioNTech and Sinovac vaccines have been approved for use in Malaysia.

AFP reported the UK medical regulator as saying on Saturday (April 3) that seven out of 30 people who suffered blood clots after receiving the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine had died.

The British acknowledgement of deaths comes as several European countries have paused the use of the AstraZeneca jab over a potential link to blood clots.

No prescription is required for Millispirin (Acetylsalicyclic Acid). It is sold over the counter at Caring Pharmacies, but lately I was told that they had discontinued Millispirin and was replaced by Winspirin. I had been buying asplrin often and was never told to register for it thus far.

Alternatively you can take garlic capsules. Garlic is as useful as a blood thinner as aspirin, minus the side-effects.

if the recent cases of deaths purportedly after taking vaccine is of any concern, it will be the speed of denials. i personally find the charade disgusting and untrustworthy. everything immediately filed under to "penyakit sedia ada"; whatever assurance of compensation became a joke.
