Getting Started

Hi,
My house has two grundfos water pump. Due to a leak the “switch” / “ controller” is spoilt( pm1 for the grundfos). The pump had been running continuously(I think) for quite some time. If I’m not mistaken for a few months. New tenant didn’t bother checking water and elec bill. I got the keys in 2013. So it has been a while. Should I change the part that is spoilt or change a new pump. Hope someone can advise. It’s so pricy so any advise would be appreciated.
Anyone has used neovin water pump before?
Thanks in advance guys.

I think it is worth it to change the pump controller and test the pump.
A generic pump controller is only around rm150

QUOTE(slimey @ Mar 31 2021, 06:46 PM) I think it is worth it to change the pump controller and test the pump. A generic pump controller is only around rm150 I asked a few plumbers it’s rm500+ warranty 1-3 months only. Like for grundfos they said have to change the pm1. That’s the pump controller right?

That’s the pump controller right? can just replace with any generic automatic pump controller. as long as the pressure and amp rating are within spec with the pump. most of them are.
