my advise,
chose ur subject 1st , dragon fly? bird nest? green leaf? then focus to it. in ur frame , try add only selected subject that u has focused. and of coz , that subject is more bold than other. to select the subject , try think , what u want to tell us about that subject? isit interensting? beautiful? wierd? or whatever that u think people will interested to see it.
about compositon , harsh flash,u will learn it by time.
anyway , gud start.

okay..ur sebject is that nest.. but from what i see , its not have enough focus. green leaf is more bold than ur main subject.when composing , its OK to put in center in ur frame (for the 2nd pic) but , try search n colect info about "rule of third" , i think its will help u in composing.
i think.. u must be more excited to shot again after this.
happy shoting.
